Adam Kingswood, owner of Kingswood Residential Investment Management, beat off strong competition to scoop top spot at the award ceremony on Tuesday 29th May at the East Midlands Conference Centre.
The Nottingham Post Business Awards celebrate the success and achievement of people and companies throughout Nottinghamshire. The Property Professional of the Year Award recognises the outstanding work done on a daily basis by people within the Nottingham property industry, but who rarely receive recognition for their achievements.
Building on his 10 years of experience within in the lettings and management sector, Adam launched Kingswood Residential Investment Management in 2016. Since then, the firm has grown to have offices in Nottingham city centre and Mansfield and manage over 250 properties across Nottingham and North Nottinghamshire. In 2017, Kingswood achieved an 84% increase in the number of properties on its books.
The award entry highlighted Adam’s hard work in setting up the business amidst strong competition and how the firm has played a pivotal role in providing leading service levels, handling lettings for new buildings and developments in Nottingham and its work with numerous Nottingham landlords and housing associations.
Commenting on winning the award, Adam Kingswood said: “I have based the business on providing excellent customer service and a tailored approach for our clients and tenants. This, and the hard work of the team, has led to our growth and I think the judges recognised this during the judging process. Naturally I am delighted to have won and I am looking forward to celebrating with the team!”
In addition to scooping the Property Professional of the Year Award, Kingswood Residential was also named as a finalist in the Property Week Resi’ Awards. The firm was shortlisted in the ‘Newcomer of the Year’ category at an awards ceremony that included the biggest names in the UK property industry.
